Looking to socialize your dog, provide your dog some training and let it play to its heart's content at the dog park for the day? Look no further, Amir Dog Training is my go-to recommendation for the east side of Los Angeles. He’s loyal, dependable and excellent at what he does.

If you’re planning a trip to Lake Tahoe and need to board your dog, I’d recommend Tahoe Best Friends. Paige, the owner, and her staff take good care of the animals in a family-room style environment with no cages. It’s located on the South Shore, so bear that in mind if you’re staying on the North Shore.

If you live in the Silverlake, Los Feliz or Atwater Village neighborhoods of Los Angeles, I’d recommend this local vet to you. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff and strive to build relationships with all their animals and owners. I’d call it “The Cheers” of vet clinics :).
